FAQ

Naked Minerals™ FAQ

How do I choose the correct foundation color for me?
Each Naked Minerals™ pressed foundation contains two colors – a warm and a cool shade. When mixed together they create a neutral shade. Select the foundation color closest to your general skin tone… light, medium, dark, or deep. unlike traditional makeup, mineral makeup does not have to match exactly. It naturally reflects light and warms up with the skin appearing like you’re wearing nothing at all.

Are my brushes shedding?
Naked Minerals™ brushes are quality brushes that have been hand made with high grade Capra hair. The brushes are not shedding (they do not continue to have hairs fall out until there is none) – it is common for high quality brushes to lose some hairs while being primed. This is normal with ALL handmade quality brushes, especially kabuki brushes. Remember these brushes are made by hand not a machine.

How do I prime my brushes?
When you first receive your brush, swirl the brush around in circles inside the palm of your hand several times, this might take up to 4 or 5 times or until you have released the loose hairs.
